The match of Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk is scheduled to be announced this summer when AJ hopes to defend his title as the world champion.
Joshua was beaten by Usyk at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last September in which he lost his world heavyweight championship in a very difficult match.
Joshua Vs Usyk 2 was originally scheduled to take place in May. However, the ongoing conflict in Ukraine forced it to be put off.
Usyk returned to his homeland and joined the army to defend Ukraine following the Russian invasion, which started in February.
The 35-year-old has received permission from the sports minister to go back to his training base and get ready for the epic battle against AJ.
In the meantime, Tyson Fury destroyed Dillian Whyte at Wembley on April 23rd to keep his WBC crown in stunning fashion.
Fury may now take on his opponent from Joshua Usyk 2 vs. Joshua Usyk 2. This would be a massive match later this year.

Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk 2: Date and start time
The fight is anticipated to be held in the latter part of July, but the exact date hasn’t been set yet.
The date under consideration is at present Saturday, July 23 which means that Saudi Arabia is the frontrunner to host the match.
Anthony Joshua’s promoter Eddie Hearn told talkSPORT: “The fight is done and everyone is in agreement. It’s 100% Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk the second fight.
“We’re in the process of deciding on the exact location right now and his team is located in London this week, so we’re going to meet with them.
“I believe within two weeks we’ll have a final date. It’ll be July.
“And I hope AJ could be a three-time heavyweight world champion.”
Joshua took on Andy Ruiz Jr in their clash in December, 2019 in a specially constructed 15000-seat venue in Diriyah.
The battle began at 9:45 pm UK time.
Other options are Tottenham Hotspur Stadium again, Wembley Stadium or Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.

Anthony Joshua vs Oleksandr Usyk 2: What have the fighters said?
Usyk recently revealed that he is training for a fight with Joshua for the second time this summer.
He added: “I decided to start making preparations for a fight with Anthony Joshua, a large number of my buddies support me. All the rest of the peace and good I am grateful to God to God for the many blessings.

Joshua In the meantime, Joshua disclosed: “The fight with Usyk In my opinion, the fight was scheduled to last 12 rounds.
“That was my strategy as I believed that I could beat him as an amateur boxer. He was able to win two rounds more over me. He was the champion.
“So the aim now is to get back to the basics and aim for the knockout.
“I always feel that when I’m fighting or sparring individuals, I feel their spirits are slacken.
“Honestly When you’re looking at this person with their eyes, and you’re watching their body, you will be able to see the body and punch after hit this person is gradually fading.
“Now as you box the purpose of boxing is to strike but not be hit. You’re basically trying to avoid being hit. This isn’t my style.
“My method is to get in close proximity and to make it difficult for people. This is my strategy.
“I think, having gained experience with more character thanks to the events I’ve experienced I’ll continue to follow my plans, but I will also apply the same spirit I’ve gained. I’m feeling like I’ve enriched my toolbox.”
