The rematch for the heavyweight title between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk has been set for Jeddah Super Dome, Saudi Arabia.

In an interview, Eddie Hearn stated that he would have preferred for Joshua’s home supporters to be able to cheer for him, but Usyk’s management wanted to make as much money as possible, thus the fight had to be relocated to Saudi Arabia.

The site will be the world’s biggest dome, which also holds the world record.

The battle would take place in Jeddah on August 20, as originally planned.

When the discussion is over, it will take place in the newly opened Jeddah Super Dome, which has a capacity of 35,000 spectators.

The venue has previously hosted a major WWE pay-per-view event since the Elimination Chamber event in March.

The dome is approximately 46 meters tall and 34,636 square meters in size. Its outer circle is 220 meters in diameter. People took notice when it broke two records for constructing buildings.

The Caesars Superdome in New Orleans is no longer the world’s largest geodesic dome and continuous dome arena (non-openable).

The 326-ton steel ring beam, designed to support the arena’s construction rings, would be ideal for a heavyweight battle.

There is parking for up to 5,200 automobiles if you arrive by car.

Andy Ruiz Jr.’s IBO, IBF, WBA (super), and WBO world heavyweight belts were reclaimed in Saudi Arabia in the second part of 2019.

This battle was held in Diriyah Arena, which was constructed in just 56 days.

A stadium outdoors could seat around 15,000 people. People will watch AJ twice as much as they did previously.

There have already been 23 events there, with the majority of them being concerts. In addition to this, it has hosted a motor show.

The Jeddah Superdome, located west of King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is a multi-purpose event area with a capacity of 35,000 people. Since it opened in the middle of 2021, it has hosted all of the city’s exhibits, conferences, and other events.

The Caesars Superdome was formerly the world’s biggest dome without a break in it (non-segmented, non-openable). The JSD is 210 meters in diameter, 46 meters in height, and has a total covered surface of 34,636 square meters. It was a big thing immediately away since it shattered two construction records.

The rematch between Anthony Joshua and Oleksandr Usyk will take place in Saudi Arabia in the cutting-edge Jeddah SuperDome, which has already broken several records.

The Jeddah Super Dome’s management has agreed that it would be a decent venue for the megafight, but Joshua’s rematch with Usyk has yet to be booked.

WWE Elimination Chamber was held at the Jeddah SuperDome in February. The Jeddah Super Dome can house up to 40,000 people and is the world’s largest geodesic dome that does not require any support.

According to reporters, JSD management has informed them that the Usyk vs Joshua bout scheduled for August will take place as planned.

The British heavyweight boxing champion aims to reclaim his WBA, WBO, and IBF crowns from the Ukrainian, who defeated him by a majority decision in September.

Joshua is currently undergoing training at Loughborough University with a new trainer named Robert Garcia. Angel Fernandez was the final teacher with whom Robert Garcia worked.
